Guest Services Associate

Primary Duties:

  • Engage and connect with Synergy clients, guests and staff by providing exceptional customer service 
  • Foster an atmosphere of caring and wellness while sharing in-depth knowledge of Synergy’s services, current promotions, events, membership options, etc.
  • Execute operational procedures accurately and effectively, providing information to Guest Services Manager to improve efficiencies 
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and/or in-person
  • Process all transactions correctly and efficiently 
  • Greet guests in a calm and welcoming manner at all times while processing appointments at check in/out, scheduling services, fielding incoming phone calls and general management of guest experiences
  • Maintain a clean and tidy atmosphere in all treatment rooms and common areas, completing opening, closing and routine shift tasks associated with Guest Services 
  • Support office with general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Enjoy working in an energetic and fast-paced setting with a willingness to learn and be amendable to changes that come with a growing environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Customer service and sales: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of any of the following a plus:  Google Workspace, Asana, MindBody, Excel, Word, Windows, Zoom
  • Part time shifts available Monday through Saturday
    Outpatient Clinician

    Synergy seeks Outpatient Clinicians experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in an outpatient setting who are looking to join a wellness-oriented company that values your expertise, creativity and independence.

    Qualifications:

    • LICSW, LCSW, LMHC or LMFT and professional liability insurance
    • At least 2 years outpatient experience working with clients of all ages including children, youth, adults, couples and families 
    • Demonstrated skills in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma and other clinical issues
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Dynamic interpersonal communication skills
    • Demonstrated record of reliability, independence and a desire to be part of a strong and supportive clinical team

    Medical Billing Specialist

    Primary Duties:

    • Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies
    • Check eligibility and benefits verification for counseling, acupuncture and physical therapy services
    • Assist with overseeing patient accounts on a timely basis 
    • Answer billing related questions from patients, providers and insurance companies. 
    • Proactively determine solutions for handling unique billing situations
    • Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Follow up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies
    • Examine patient bills for accuracy and gather missing information
    • Investigate and appeal denied claims 
    • Assist the Medical Billing Manager with a variety of other daily tasks
    • Assist with intake calls and as needed
    • Other duties and responsibilities as required

        Qualifications:

        The candidate will have a degree in Medical Billing and Coding, and a minimum of two years of experience in health care, preferably in mental health, claims resolution and customer service. Candidates must have the following:

        • Quality customer service skills and a high level of professionalism on the phone
        • Proficient on Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Office tools
        • Solid understanding of commercial insurance and electronic medical records 
        • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, multitask and manage time effectively
        • High values and ethics with regards to confidentiality and HIPAA laws
        • Experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes, authorizations, claims processing and payroll reporting
        • Takes personal responsibility for job performance
        • Team-oriented approach to working in a wellness setting 
        • Knowledge of revenue cycle billing preferred 
        • Proven record of working independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment 
        • Requires a high level of analytic skills
